Blue Topaz
Blue Topaz
Topaz is a silicate mineral, the name "topaz" is derived via Old French: Topace and Latin: Topazus. Topaz in its natural state is a golden brown to yellow, a characteristic which means it is sometimes confused with citrine, and very rarely forms naturally. Typically blue topaz is a colorless, grey, or pale yellow variation of the stone that has been heat-treated and irradiated to produce the desired shade of blue. Topaz is said to inspire joy, generosity, and good health. It is known as a stone of love and good fortune, and can be used to release tension, and induce relaxation. Topaz can resonate with all of the chakras. Blue Topaz, the birthstone for December resonates specifically with the throat and third eye chakra.
