Conglomerate is a sedimentary rock that is composed of rounded segments of rock that are at least 2mm called clasts, held together by smaller particles of sediment. This type of stone is typically formed in a stream or body of water with a strong enough current to push the larger bits of the stone downstream until it is combined with smaller bits of sediment and hardened. Our red conglomerate has earthy browns creams, and tans, mixed with peach and red. Conglomerate gemstones take on all of the healing properties of the various stones they contain, so depending on the variety they can be used to heal in many ways and are often referred to as guardian stones.
