Black Labradorite/Larvikite is a member of the Feldspar family. The name originates from the Larvik Fjord region in Norway, where this type of igneous rock is found.It is also sometimes referred to as Blue Volga Granite, which is generally quarried in the Ukraine. It has a different appearance than your typical labradorite. It has varying shades of grey and black with light colored iridescent inclusions.
