Trunk Shows

Trunk shows offer a very attractive alternative to stores who want to offer their customers a special buying opportunity on the latest in beads with little or no inventory cost!  Trunk shows are also a great way to test the interest in our 8 Inch sets and other products with your customers. We have two very successful trunk show options that we offer to established bead stores:  Box Trunk Shows and Traveling Trunk Shows:

Box Trunk Shows

This is a very successful program to get a great selection of new products in front of your customers. We will box up a nice selection of beads for you and ship them to your store. Each strand will be clearly marked with the retail price (except for groups of specials). You keep the product for up to two weeks and sell them in your store. At the end of the sale, you count the number of strands remaining in each price category and mail the remaining beads back to us along with a check for 50% of the retail price of the beads that sold. You keep 50% of the retail sales from the beads. All we require is a credit card to secure the beads.

Box Trunk Show Rules

• We pay shipping to your store and you pay shipping when returning the beads to us.
• Once you receive your trunk show, you are responsible for double checking our counts. You have up until the first day of your show to let us know of any discrepancies or items that were broken in transit.
• You must sell all items at the prices they are marked. Any discounts you would like to offer your customers must be agreed upon before the show.
• Tags are not to be removed! We spend hours carefully setting and applying pricing for each of these strands.
• When your show is over, count the entire inventory you have left. The split is 50/50. You may either include a check in the returned boxes or we will be happy to charge your card.
• Make sure when mailing items back that everything is packaged very well so that nothing breaks in transit.

Traveling Trunk Shows

We travel to a limited number of bead stores in our region to put on weekend in-store trunk shows. We will bring the entire product and will furnish tables if necessary. We carry a very large variety of the latest in gemstone beads as well as glass beads and pearls. We prefer a two day show with a setup the night before if possible. We generally can bring three to four tables of product along with grid wall to display 8 Inch strands. Beads are generally sold at retail price and a predetermined proportion of the sales are divided between Cherry Tree Beads and the store. Please call if you have an interest in having us for a show!
