In order for Goldstone to be created, copper ions must be heated to over 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit in a low-oxygen environment to melt into glass stone. Blue Goldstone is made by adding powdered cobalt to the glass during the fabrication process, giving it a deep, luxurious blue color.
